Administrative records series, 1910-1946.

The Administrative records series is divided into two subseries. The Memorandums subseries is made up of two groups of memorandums to and from various departments of Ford Motor Company. The 1911-1946 records, (10.4 cubic ft. and 7 microfilm reels), Acc. 509, contain general outgoing letters to the following groups: to all branches, 1937-1939 and to all dealers, 1930-1943. These records also include general records to and from all departments and branches, 1911-1948; instruction and assembly change letters, 1925-1927; and sales letters and service bulletins, 1926-1929. The 1915-1945 records (36.4 cubic ft. and 30 microfilm reels), Acc. 78, contain general outgoing letters to the following groups: to all branches, 1918-1933; to all departments, 1915-1946. The records also include letters from the following departments: Auditing, 1926; Manufacturing, 1945-1946; Parts and Service, 1945; Production, 1926-1927; Sales, 1929-1946; Service, 1923-1936 as well as home office circular letters, 1940. The Sales Forms subseries, 1910-1938 (0.8 cubic ft.), Acc. 124, includes blank forms utilized by Ford Motor Company and Lincoln Motor Company such as sales agreements, sales prospectus and monthly reports.
